30-Day Home Fitness Journey – Day 16: Boost Your Fat-Burning Efforts

You’re now halfway through Svava Sigbertsdottir’s 30-day fat-burning home workout challenge! Day 16 doesn’t need any equipment, so let’s dive in.

Today’s routine includes sumo squats, high planks into downward dog, and side planks that are designed to make you sweat. Control each movement to really work your core, building strength and stamina. It should be challenging because if it’s too easy, your core muscles won’t work as hard, making toning less effective.

When you feel tired, try to open up your chest instead of falling forward, as this helps with breathing. Take deep breaths and keep moving.

The workout is 10 minutes long, with five moves done in two sets. You’ll do each move for 40 seconds followed by a 20-second rest, then repeat the sequence once more.
